VIEW’s latest issue launched at the Mac in Belfast

The latest issue of VIEW was launched today in the Mac, Belfast, in front of a packed audience,

Brendan McDonnell, the guest editor of this edition of VIEW and director of Community Evaluation NI (CENI) spoke at the launch of the magazine which looks at Outcomes-Based Accountability and the draft Programme for Government.

Mr McDonnell said that the government’s new outcomes-based approach to measuring social impact will be “challenging”.

Also speaking at the launch were Professor Pauline Murphy, who is on the advisory board of VIEWdigital; Nigel McKinney, Director of Operations at Building Change Trust who sponsored the publication and Brian Pelan, VIEW editor.

Among those who attended were representatives from Libraries NI, Northern Ireland Housing Executive, Kiso Arts, Volunteer Now, Department for Communities, Belfast Food Network, East Belfast Independent Advice Centre, Edwards and Company, PSNI, Belfast City Council, Women’s Research Development Association, Dankse Bank, Department of Health, Arts and Business NI, CJH Training, Public Health Authority, Creative Change NI, Queen’s University, Sustainable NI, Impress, Lagan Navigation Trust, Big Lottery Fund, RNIB, Depaul Ireland and Age NI
