Belfast Photo Festival clicks into action

The sun came out and cameras clicked as the Belfast Photo Festival 2017 was launched today at the National Grande Cafe in High Street, Belfast.

Festival Director Michael Weir promised a bigger, better and even more exciting event this year.

Amongst some of the themes are Sexuality and Gender; Loss and Longing and Class and Kinship.

The event runs from June 1 to June 30 at a number of locations, including the Golden Thread Gallery, Writers Square and the Naughton Gallery at Queen’s University.

Among those supporting the festival are the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Arts and Business NI.
