Joe Kenny in call to other blind people to take up running

By Brian Pelan, VIEWdigital

Joe Kenny, who works in the voluntary sector in Belfast, has urged people with a visual impairment to take up running.

Joe, who is blind, spoke to VIEWdigital about how much he enjoys running. “It gives me a chance to put away the cane and enjoy the freedom of jogging,” he said.

We caught up with Joe during one of his regular runs in Ormeau Park, Belfast, with his guide runner Dervia Murphy.
