Young people thrilled to be taking part in Homeless World Cup

A group of young men and women who have experienced homelessness are preparing to represent Northern Ireland at a prestigious football tournament.

The Homeless World Cup takes place in Norway from August 29 to September 5 and will see 50 countries compete for the trophy.

The tournament has been running for 12 years.

The project is run by Street Soccer NI who use the power of football to try to transform the lives of people who are affected by homelessness.
