Protesters gathered outside Laganside Court in Belfast today after yesterday’s verdict in the rape trial in Belfast.

On Wednesday two Ulster rugby players Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding, along with Blane McIlroy and Rory Harrison were acquitted of all the charges against them following the trial.

Organisers said the event was in response to the impact of the trial and how it has been handled by the criminal justice system.
