Advertise with VIEW and reach the decision makers in Northern Ireland’s Community and Voluntary Sector
VIEWdigital publishes one of Northern Ireland’s highest circulating online magazines VIEW which reaches more than 10,000 readers each edition. The community-based magazine is professionally written and produced by two of Northern Ireland’s most experienced journalists, Brian Pelan and Una Murphy. VIEWdigital’s aim is to raise awareness of what’s happening within our local communities. All too often the voices of those who shape and form these communities are not always heard in the mainstream media. We offer an independent platform for these social affairs stories.
Publication dates for VIEW magazine are available on request.
VIEW is co-produced with community experts. In each edition, a guest editor is selected with a background in community activism. They play a vital role in our themed editions, enabling us to report in-depth on the relevant social affairs topics in a way that that the mainstream cannot or will not do. VIEWdigital community media specialises in publishing insider perspectives on key social issues to a wider audience; raising awareness of specific topics such as child poverty, people with disabilities, community food initiatives, community and technology, standing up to racism and homelessness with regular articles published in VIEW magazine and on the VIEWdigital online news site and linked to our social media channels (Facebook and Twitter).
Our guest editors have included individuals from a range of organisations, including Age NI, Digital Express, the Whiterock Children’s Centre, Belfast Food Network and South Tyrone Empowerment Programme (STEP).
More than 10,000 people have seen and read each edition of the magazine across all our platforms — by email, Facebook, Twitter, VIEWdigital website and ISSUU digital magazine platform. Last year over 5,137 people read issue 31 on our website alone.
Organisations who have supported us include the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland, the Public Health Agency, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and the Food Standards Agency.
