The Belfast Imagine Festival, which enjoyed record audiences earlier this year, is putting on two special events next month.
‘Los Angeles v Belfast: How do you move forward in a divided city?‘ will ask what if anything can Belfast and LA learn from each other, and from the world, about how to find reconciliation and achieve cooperative governance.
The event is at the Accidental Theatre, Shaftesbury Square, on September 12 with free admission.
‘Celebrating Democracy’ on Friday, September 15, will ask Can a more participatory and deliberative approach to politics help to restore, strengthen, and sustain devolved government in Northern Ireland? The event is at the Cube Theatre, Crescent Arts Centre, University Road, with free admission.
Next year’s Belfast Imagine Festival on March 18-24 will be a very special one as organisers will be celebrating the festival’s 10th anniversary.
